Explore what is possible
Spend less time moving information between systems and more time looking after your clients. An integration connects MyCRM with the tools your business uses, so an enquiry, a contact update or a change to a deal can become part of a connected workflow.
You do not need to understand the code to plan one. Start with a task your team repeats, or a question you wish your systems could answer. These guides explain the possibilities and the decisions to make with your developer or technology partner.
What would make a difference to your business?
| If your team wants to… | An integration could help you… | Explore the idea |
|---|---|---|
| Follow up website enquiries sooner | Put a new enquiry into MyCRM for the right adviser, without retyping it | Capture enquiries |
| Reduce duplicate data entry | Keep selected client details aligned across your business tools | Connect contact information |
| See how the business is progressing | Bring permitted deal information into your own dashboards and reports | Report on your deals |
| Respect clients’ communication choices | Pass changes in marketing consent between MyCRM and your communication platform | Align marketing preferences |
| Act when information changes | Use a notification from MyCRM to start the next step in another system | Automate a workflow |
Start with one useful outcome
For example: “When someone enquires through our website, create a lead in MyCRM for our adviser.” That gives your team a clear result to work towards and a simple way to check whether it works.
Before you speak with a developer, write down:
- The systems to connect. Which website, reporting tool or business application is involved?
- The information to share. What does each system actually need?
- The direction of updates. Should information move one way or both ways? Which system has the final say when values disagree?
- The timing. Is a daily update enough, or does the next step need to happen promptly?
- The owner. Who will check the integration and deal with a failed update?
Confirm what your business can access
Available information depends on the access agreed for your application and business. Seeing a record or feature in the MyCRM application does not automatically mean your integration can use it. Your developer can use the API reference to check the available operations.
Bring your idea to Ask LMG when requesting access. If a capability is marked Beta, confirm access and readiness before relying on it in production.
Implementation notes for your technical team
Access is issued to each application for an agreed organisation or subscription context. Confirm whether the integration needs to read, create or update records, then request the relevant scopes and data access.
The API reference describes the documented operations and schemas. Each scenario below includes the relevant endpoints and implementation guidance. For authentication and a first working call, begin with Get started.
